Why do I need this?

I offer advanced fetal echocardiogram services to evaluate your baby’s heart during the second trimester. This non-invasive procedure is similar to a standard pregnancy ultrasound which shows details of the baby’s heart. A fetal echocardiogram may be recommended if a routine ultrasound raises concerns, there is a family history of heart conditions, or there are maternal health factors like diabetes or lupus increase the risk of heart abnormalities. If any issues are identified, additional testing and specialized care will be arranged to give your baby the best opportunity for good health.
